Call for Extended Abstracts
MICGen: MICCAI Workshop on Imaging Genetics invites participation of research related to the field of Imaging Genetics. We call for extended abstracts (see details below) that will be selected for short oral presentations and discussion. Abstracts should have a significant medical imaging component, and both new methods as well as practical clinical application are welcome. The following themes are encouraged, but not exhaustive:
- Joint Modelling of Imaging and Genetics
- Novel Clinical Applications and Results
- Modelling the Environment and its Interactions
- Multivariate Modelling of Polygenic Effects
- Estimating Heritability
- Translational Imaging Genetics
Submissions Details
- Abstracts should present original scientific material in English text, including Aims, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
- The length of the text (not counting authors, figures or references) should be between 2,000 and 3,500 characters, which is about a page of written text. Feel free to use a second page for figures and references. Please use LLNCS templates: Word or Latex.
- The deadline for submissions is listed under Important Dates on the Event Details page.
Presentation Format
Oral presentations for the best Abstracts will be given in the afternoon sessions. Depending on the number of submissions, the workshop may also be accompanied by a poster session. All good quality submissions will have the opportunity to present via an oral presentation or a poster.
